About Janice Partyka
Janice Partyka is principal of JGP Services. She is a tech industry leader with more than 20 years of experience helping companies propel their businesses by creating products with compelling value propositions positioned in the right market niches. Her expertise spans product strategy, market research and marketing communications.
In addition to being principal of JGP, Janice was a columnist for GPS World Magazine's Wireless LBS Insider and Wireless Pulse, and international newsletter that covers trends and analysis of location based services, M2M, connected vehicle and logistics markets. About 15,000 tech professionals subscribe to her column, which provides in-depth industry perspective. Janice serves as an expert witness on technology lawsuits regarding patent or other business disputes.
Previously, Janice was vice president of external relations at TechnoCom Corporation, provider of location platforms for the mobile industry. Janice Partyka was a twice-elected member of the board of directors of the E9-1-1 Institute, which supports the work of the U.S. Congressional E9-1-1 Caucus to ensure implementation of wireless E9-1-1. She was asked to brief the Obama transitional team on broadband issues.
Janice Partyka holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
